Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-07-16
Summary
- No ads, ever.
- We never see your name, email, or device ID. There is no account to create.
- Your game data is stored on your device and optionally synced through your own private iCloud. We have no access to it.
- The one exception: if you play ranked online multiplayer, your rating and match results are stored under your Game Center player ID where we can read them. Details in Ranked play below.
- The only other data we receive is Apple's anonymous, opt-in App Analytics.
What we collect
Lucky Flip Casino receives Apple App Analytics — aggregated, anonymized usage and crash data that Apple shares with developers only if you have opted in under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers on your device. Apple strips personal identifiers before we see anything, so we cannot tie any data point to an individual player.
We use this data only to find crashes, fix bugs, and understand which mini-games people play most. There is no developer-side analytics SDK, no event pipeline, and no server we operate.
What we do NOT collect
- No email address.
- No name or profile information beyond the local nickname you choose.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location data.
- No advertising identifier (IDFA), and no ad SDKs.
- No third-party analytics, attribution, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
- No cross-app or cross-website tracking.
- No in-app purchases or payment information.
The app contains no networking code of its own — no analytics SDK, no event pipeline, and no server we run. The only services it talks to are Apple's: iCloud (CloudKit) and Game Center.
Game data and iCloud
Your profile, game history, and achievement progress are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you are signed in to iCloud, the data is mirrored to your own private iCloud database so it can sync between your iPhone and iPad. This is Apple's built-in private CloudKit service — the data lives in your Apple ID, not on any server we operate. We have no read access to it.
You can delete it from inside the app at any time, per player, under Settings → Account & Data:
- Delete this profile and its data — removes that player and everything attached to it, locally and from your iCloud mirror.
- Delete all my Lucky Flip data from iCloud — clears everything the app has mirrored to your Apple ID.
Deleting the app removes the local copy. You can also remove "Lucky Flip Casino" from your iCloud storage in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Game Center
Game Center sign-in is optional. It is never required to play, and the app does not ask you to sign in — it reads whether you are already signed in at the system level. If you are not, the online multiplayer table simply does not appear.
If you are signed in, Game Center handles the parts you would expect it to: your Game Center handle and avatar as shown to opponents, the live match traffic during an online game, and any leaderboard scores and achievements the app reports. That data is Apple's, relayed through Apple's servers, and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the Game Center account settings on your device. We do not receive your Apple ID, your email, or your real name.
Ranked play and the public leaderboard
This is the one place the app stores data we can read. If you play an online multiplayer match, it is ranked, and ranking needs a rating that survives the match and can be compared against other players. That has to live somewhere shared.
Ranked data is stored in the app's public CloudKit database — still Apple's infrastructure, but a shared area that, unlike your private data above, we can read. Each ranked match writes:
- Your rating record, one per season: your Game Center player ID, the season, your Glicko-2 rating and its confidence figures, matches played, peak rating, and the time of your last match.
- A match result record: the participating players' Game Center player IDs, each player's finishing place and final score, ratings before and after, when it finished, and whether anyone left early.
Everything above is keyed to your Game Center player ID — an identifier Apple issues for this game. It is not your name, your email, or your device ID, and it does not identify you outside Game Center. No other personal data is attached to these records.
Two honest caveats:
- Ranked records are not covered by the in-app delete buttons. A match result is shared with the opponents you played, so one player's device cannot erase it unilaterally. If you want your ranked records removed, email us and we will delete them.
- If you never play online, none of this exists for you. Solo and pass-and-play games write nothing outside your own device and your own private iCloud.
Children's privacy
Lucky Flip Casino is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the Effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
